How the Calculator Works

Calorific Equivalence

We calculate the equivalent tonnage of PKS needed to produce the same energy as your current fuel, accounting for boiler efficiency differences.

Market Pricing

Enter the price you pay for your current fuel. PKS pricing is set by Thai Biomass and updated monthly. Prices are FOB Indonesia — sea freight, import duties, and inland transport to your facility are additional. Ask us for a delivered quote.

CO₂ Calculation

Using IPCC emission factors for fossil fuels. PKS is treated as carbon-neutral per international biomass sustainability standards (ISCC/SBP).
